Have a long long times ago, i think since Amateur Radio was developed or during Mr. Graham Bell found phone system, world no border anymore..until now we can talk with very very nice just using the antenna & radio..with the provided frequency & equipment, easily can comunicate through all countries in this world..not stop at world but can pass by the air space..
And now, we have no more to think how to develope what people have done before, we just make use as per we need..so now, antenna, radio, swr meter, psu etc. all can buy at comunication shop..this one very easy & fast..buy, chock & chock, u can transmit..only a part of hams, which is the soul truth hams make thier own antenna to satisfy themself..from that a lot question marks coming, when we DIY our things like antenna, linear, amplifier etc..the most importants are end product is satisfaction..bottom line on that, in what ever situation, either buy or DIY (homebrew), nowaday we can talk (qso) a lot on the air using this infrastructure with no doubt..so, please do not make our hobby buried..all hams must stand in one name..the name is 'Amateur Radio Hams'..think it deeply, u will find the real meaning..
