QSO = Conversation

Dear all my friends,

Qso mean conversation, conversation mean 2 way comunications..doesn't matter in BPSK31, SSTV, PHONE, QPSK, etc..which mean u need at least 2 person to make your conversation meaningfull..if u have the 'Big-gun" or powerfull station then u try calling, but if that only u have at that frequency, your quest doesn't meaning anythings..even if propagation is good then u try to CQ CQ, but no body at that frequency, still have not meaning..so, what i try to say here is let's us make our nice hobby go & go & go, and most importants are try to be chip in at any frequency to make this hobby alive & make all hams happy when get contacts from all the country in this world.

Slow-scan television - SSTV

What is SSTV? SSTV stand for Slow-scan television, it's mainly using by Amateur Radio operators for transmitting static pictures via radio in monochrome or color. If u like to play this SSTV, the equipment still same as per PSK31 using 2 Cables (line in & line out) & HRD, but at DM780, click at SSTV & click display. The frequency are follow :

PSK31 Cat Cable for TS-570D - Homebrew

After have many times google how to make this interface, finally i found it..at the first time i think i want to buy it, but after look at the pricing, quiet surprise me..so, better i DIY..so now, i can operate PSK31 using my ts-570d..u can find a lot info about PSK31 from zak's blog..

Dxing & Flag

In amateur radio arena, both of this things are close relations..why? this is because when we dxing, indirectly we show our flag..example 9M/9W its prefix for Malaysia..at the same time we dxing we also bring our flag together & show off it..that mean atitude/dicipline during QSO must be take care..on top of that, its also show how are our cultures..even when we are doing wrong during QSO, open mouth to say 'sorry'..that a little bit show how we are..for sure different country got thier own styles/cultures..but we are must be at our principle, don't go to them..because we are Malaysians..
