Learn how to listen

This is one of the skill how we can listen audio even in very bad condition or weak stations..the most important is try to concentrate with weak audio & catch 1 or 2 words..then ask them to repeat the callsign..until we get full callsign..the rest QSO can be more easy..this problem can be settle if the radio/rig have filters/DSP..plus, this skill can use also during 'pile-up' stations..we listen & try to enter..which the suit time to break the 'pile-up'..otherwise, u are overlaps..hi hi

Performance (No. 2) Fishing pole Vertical Antenna - Homebrew

Again..i did it well on my fishing pole vertical antenna..all working like usual..running 80w on this antenna, using Ts-570D..with VSWR less 1.2:1..i got several contacts..which is can say quite 'pile-up'..hi hi..yesterday i got 94 stations but today i do some improvement for my record with 132 stations on my log book..hi hi..nice to meet u..gud dx & gud luck..

Since i make this antenna well..my 2ele yagi 20m now going 'sleep'..i feel much comfort & challange when use this antenna..look like lousy antenna but today it make me proud when i got several stations on my calling CQ DX 20..running 80w on this antenna using TS-570D with VSWR less 1.4:1..i got total 94 stations..really make me proud & satisfied..anyway, tnx fer coming to my call..gud dx & gud luck..

?QRV or QRV?

which one our mode right now...it is ?QRV or QRV?..hihi..look like same but the meanings too much diffrents..QRV? meant are you ready?.. if ?QRV meant i'm ready..these two thing2 must have at the same time..which is when people calling cq, we were there to pick up the call..no point if only one person active & the rest 'sleep'..it's will become sorrowful day..to be this hobby more enjoyable..please ?QRV & QRV? on the band..it's will make ur day & logbook look nice..hi hi..

Tower HF..

Current antenna's set up

This is some idea of tower for my future set up..i really hope i can be my own tower..with small cost & strong tower..hi hi..knowing nowaday, quiet expensive price for metal but hopefully with tiny budget, i can make it well..i hope so..if this really happen, it's will replace the existing pole for my current antenna set up..thinking to make proper one because to make it excellence while hard wind coming & for sure to nice-look..hehe..plus i can easily do maintaining the antenna..insyaAllah, when all budget ok..i will look into it & do it patiently..everyday, i will pray for this ambition will be happen one day..

Some idea 4:1 balun

First & for most i would like say thanks to DAL because introduced me about this antenna..with this Fishing pole (7m length), my antenna can be straight vertical..i spent the whole day to finish & tuned this antenna well..i found at internet how to built 4:1 balun then i try built it but unlucky it's cannot use for this antenna..then i rebuilt & rebuilt again until i find the actual diagram/turns of balun for this antenna..too tired i feel but finally it's work well with vswr less 1.5:1 at 40m-10m band..no need tuner..hi hi..this is another antenna collections on top of my roof..

p/s : have tested with Japan stn this evening on 10m band..running 100w on this antenna..he copy me 10db over 9..

Tuned or Tuner??

In order of antenna purposely, some peoples was thinking use the tuned one much better because can get full power on Tx side..exactly correct..but how about the Long Wire (LW) antenna..must use tuner right?? yupp..no body want to use it w/out ATU..hi hi..it's can make your transmitter burn..can say all hams got the big/gaint ATU with indicator plus can handle up to 3k power output..so, what for u keep that ATU, utilize it as u can..furthermore, everybody know ATU can save everythings like Transmitter & lower down VSWR for Tx side..i have read some article which said 'ATU are to fool the Transmitter & the operator'..i have no doubt about that but for make all save better use ATU otherwise your antenna really tuned or at the range save VSWR..

Result contacts on Helix antenna - 10m

May be this is a 'toy' awaiting by Class B holder (9W's) at Malaysia..hi hi..got some people said this antenna look damb but as long as i can make contacts still ok for me..frankly to say this helix absalutely fantastic in RX & TX..with this little helix i got several contact on 10m band during mobile..with very gud propagations..i have made contacts on this helix as below :
